Located just 32 kms from Gangtok at the confluence of Teesta River and Dikchu River, the small picturesque village of Dikchu has recently experienced fervour of activities. It is a small town with a small market where you can replenish your supplies for the high altitude travel ahead. Dikchu is just a stopover on the way to Mangan and further to Lachen on Lachung with great views of Teesta and the recently constructed dam.
