Chopta in North Sikkim is a beautiful high alpine valley surrounded by snow-covered peaks, meandering rivers and alpine flowers. A few kilometers from the Chopta Valley is the famous Gurudongmar Lake.
The valley is located at an elevation of 13200 feet and during the spring season the Chopta Valley enjoys a colorful turbulence of flowers.
